Sierra de Cantabria
Appearance: Deep purple garnet. Aromas: Raspberry, black cherry, vanilla, light rose/floral notes, and cigar box. Medium-bodied tart and gravelly, the cherry, raspberry, white pepper and citrus rind flavors lead to a bold finish that's warm and comforting.
Ique Malbec
Even in its native Cahors, in southwestern France, does malbec reach the level of ripeness and complexity that it can in Argentina. The 2006 Bodega Enrique Foster Ique is an exceptional, affordable wine to show malbec's potential. Bright fruit with balanced acidity and tannic structure, the wine still has a nice weight and intrigue without the use of oak.
Cortijo iii Tempranillo
* Simple “easy drinking” wine for “everyday” consumption with intense fruit driven character, supple tannins and well-balanced structure. * Cortijo--one of the greatest values from Rioja--difficult to find at this level of quality and price.
Septima Malbec
The palate is nice, although fairly simple. The acidity is perfect. Black cherry, plum and subtle cassis flavors make up the fruit on the palate. It’s almost jammy, but not quite
Cabrini Malbec
In this warm, yet dry climate the Malbec achieves near perfect ripeness endowing the wines with a velvety texture and intense flavors of blackberry, peppery spice, and balsamic herbs.
Peace Shiraz
is broad on the palate with cherry and blackberry flavors, while lingering tannins are chased with plummy fruit aromas and a warm finish.
Araco Crianza
Dark cherry in colour, showing fresh strawberry and raspberry fruits aromas that are harmoniously blended with hints of spices and noble wood on the nose.
Montes Alpha Merlot
Handsome ruby-red color. Outstanding fruit, with a noseful of red berries, black cherry, black pepper, hints of tobacco. These elements come through on the palate, revealing a full-bodied wine. In mid palate is round and velvety with an added touch of vanilla and toast, followed by a long and smooth finish. Very, very elegant. WINE SPECTATOR selected it as both TOP-SCORING Merlots around the world and also one of the Best Values in Merlot.
Montes Alpha Syrah
intense ruby red color, it has a great aroma with floral, tobacco and leathery notes. Strong and full bodied to the palate, with soft and mature tannins. A very long, elegant and satisfying after taste. A superb Syrah.
Korta Carmenere
Carmenère is one of a small group of wines that thrives in its adopted land but struggles to gain acceptance at home. It still is used on occasion in France's Bordeaux region where it adds color and complexity to blends with its distinctive mélange of smoky, herbal and gamy tones. In South America, particularly Chile, it ripens fully and the wines take on added layers of dark
berry fruit that gives it a balance rarely achieved in France.
Villarica Crianza
French oak was used for this wine, which is made with 100 percent tempranillo grapes. The wine shows subtle oak influences and ripe fruit with firm tannins. Initially, the wine has a strong menthol aroma that softens as the fruit opens up with proper breathing
Kenwood merlot
A full-bodied, supple and flavorful Merlot featuring plum, berry, vanilla and chocolate notes, a good balance and soft tannins. Wine
Kendall Jackson
French and American oak, and put through malolactic fermentation. It is a cross-appellation blend of 55% from Monterey and 45% from Santa Barbara. Gorgeous tropical fruits, pineapple in particular, as well as honeysuckle and some floral notes jump from the glass of this pure, rich wine that exhibits subtle oak but is dominated by its fruit. It’s a beauty that should drink nicely for several years
Vina Izadi
According to the Wine Spectator: "A chewy texture yields flavors of black cherry, plum, coffee and earth in this red. A bit rustic, but has concentration. Clean finish. Drink now through 2010."
Calina
The 2008 Reserva Chardonnay shows subtle aromas of butter balanced by notes of citrus blossoms, green and red apples, white peach and melon. The wine is velvety smooth on the palate with light oak flavors, good acidity, a crisp, long finish and a hint of minerality
Borsao Tinto
Borsao Tinto 2007 from Spain - Cherry, earth, and orange skin aromatics - great texture and ripeness. Lingers enticingly with a hint of mocha on the notes
La Playa, Cabernet. Merlot, Chardonnay
Brancotte Pinot Noir
